Monday 20th January saw us spend an evening with the Fellowship For British Hairdressing. We at Hattbox Hairdressing feel privileged to have been a part of this bi-annual event, and we thank the Fellowship.
The night was called Members Night, and took place at the Wella Studios in London. It’s a platform for up & coming, and top names within the industry to show off their latest collections.
Our collection was inspired by the artist and the art of Wassily Kandinsky
“The more obvious is the separation from nature,
the more likely is the inner meaning to be pure and unhampered.”
What he’s saying here is that, by removing all familiar imagery from his work, the viewer would gain a much more purer experience.
With that in mind we removed any natural fall or form from our models hair and called the collection “Seeing What’s There”.
The whole Hattbox team performed amazingly and I’m so proud to be able to say they work with me. Considering this was a first time experience for most of us it was great watching them go about their tasks with such expert professionalism.
