We are pleased to report that our Pop-up hair salon raised £780 for Cynthia Spencer Hospice
Northampton’s first pop-up salon on Saturday 10th May, could be found in one of the towns busiest shopping streets. Our goal was to raise money for terminal cancer suffers in Northampton. Instead of paying for their service, visitors to the pop-up salon were asked to make donations to the local Cynthia Spence Hospice, which provides specialist health service for people whose illness is no longer curable. All proceeds went to the hospice.
Using a Chowns “To Let” property situated at the top of the Drapery we opened from 10am – 6pm for dry cuts, styling and consultancy, supported by hair products donated by Unite Eurotherapy. With DJ D’Arcy, professional photographer Paul Michael Hughes and a docu-film maker Dennis Plesca on site to capture and enhance our visitor’s experience.
This film captures the day perfectly, and we couldn’t have done it without your generosity. Thank you. . .
